Terms and conditions do apply:

1. Available for bookings made for 2021/22 only
2. Applies to The Electra, The View, The Lyra, West Village, West View, Verde, The Kingfisher, New Park, Holbrook,  River Street Tower and Myrtle Street.
3. To qualify the customer must:

• • complete a room booking at one of the properties listed above for a minimum 39 weeks tenancy agreement.
  • The customer must start their tenancy agreement from September 2021 and be studying at a higher / further education institution.
  • Check-in by 30 September 2021.

4. The offer excludes bookings for the 2021/22 academic year referred through a nomination agreement.
5. If the customer does not check-in September 2021 they will forfeit the discount and will be liable for the full rent amount under the terms of their tenancy agreement.
6. Offer is subject to availability.
7. This offer is not available in conjunction with our rebooker offer.
8. Downing Students reserves the rights to change or remove the promotional offer at any time.

refer-friend

£300 cashback when you refer a friend to live with us for 2021/22 term and the referred friend also gets £300.

To qualify for the incentive the following applies:

1. The referrer must have lived at a Downing Students property in 2020/21 academic year or booked to stay in 2021/22 academic year for a minimum of 39 weeks, unless stated otherwise.
2. The referrer will have the discount applied to their final payment as specified in their tenancy agreement, provided there are no arrears on their account and the referred has completed a Tenancy Agreement and paid a rent instalment.
3. The referred (friend) must be a new referral and cannot be a student who has already lived with Downing Students.
4. The referred friend must make a direct booking with Downing Students. The offer will not apply for referrals booking through a third party e.g. a booking agent.  It excludes any bookings made directly through universities or higher education institutions.
5. The referrer must provide the referred with their Downing Students ID, full name and promotional code REFERFRIEND21.
6. The referred must include all information from point (e) above on their application form and complete all paperwork within the promotional period and timeframe specified.
7. The offer will be void if the referred is released from the Tenancy Agreement, for whatever reason, prior to the commencement date of their tenancy.
8. Any offer or discounts are not transferable.
9. Refer a friend is not applicable when booking as a group of 3 or more to live with Downing Students in a shared apartment. We have a separate group booking incentive for all students looking to live with a group of friends.
10. A maximum of two students can be referred in one flat.
11. Downing Students reserves the rights to change or remove the promotional offer at any time.
12. The refer a friend scheme is not applicable to students applying to live at Myrtle Street, City Club and Atlas.
13. The offer does not apply to dual occupancy tenancies.

group-booking

Book as a group and get £300 each. To qualify for the incentive the following will apply:

1. An individual must book with a group and share a flat with a minimum of three bedrooms.
2. The booking must be for a minimum of 39 week tenancy period.
3. Customers will only qualify for the £300 credit if all members of the group have completed their tenancy agreements for 2021/22 academic year and the booking status is complete for all.
4. To book as a group you must login to the residents portal and complete an application. You just have a lead tenant to process the group booking.
5. The £300 will be credited to the customers’ final payment as per the tenancy agreement, providing there are no arrears on the group account. Where the account has been paid in full (rather than instalments), payment will be made after May 1st.
6. This promotion only applies to bookings made directly with Downing Students.  The offer will not apply for referrals booking through a third party e.g. a booking agent.  It excludes any bookings made directly through universities or higher education institutions.
7. This promotion is available to both new and existing customers who look to book for 2021/22 academic year.
8. The group booking promotion is not available for students living at Myrtle Street, Pound Field, The Lyra, Atlas, The Kingfisher, The Electra, The View, City Side and City Club.

We understand that plans change which is why we’ve introduced our free cancellation policy. If you book to live with us during 2021/22 academic year and your plans change, you can cancel by 31^st May 2021 with no charge.

Terms and conditions:

1. This promotion only applies to 39 or more week tenancy agreements for the 2021/22 academic year, starting in September.
2. To qualify you must book a room and complete a tenancy agreement with Downing Students (in accordance with these terms) before 31^st May 2021 and any application to cancel must be received by no later than 5pm on 31st May 2021.
3. A £100 holding deposit is required to complete your application. If cancelled by 31^st May your holding deposit will be refunded.

5. This promotion only applies to all bookings made directly with Downing Students or via their international accommodation referral agents and excludes any bookings made through any University or Higher Education Institutions accommodation office.

7. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers
8. To be entitled to this promotion any existing customers must have made all outstanding payments due on their 2020/21 account.
9. In any instances where a holding deposit is paid and the tenant fails to manually or digitally sign the tenancy agreement, we reserve the right to retain the holding deposit in lieu of costs incurred.
10. Downing Students reserves the right to remove or change this promotional offer at any time. In the event of Downing Students doing so any individuals who had completed tenancies prior to the change or removal will be entitled to benefit from this promotion unaffected.
