Six Ideas To Make Your March Bloom – Liverpool

March has arrived, which means spring has finally sprung and we’re now well into the second semester. After a busy few months of studying, you’re probably feeling like a well-earned rest is overdue.

Our Liverpool team has been studying hard too, and they’ve done their homework on the best bits that March has to offer. With lots of exciting new releases, great books coming out, and fab activities bringing our city to life, there’s no excuse not to have a good time as we bid winter adieu and say hello to spring!

So once exams are out of the way and you’ve finally done that spring clean you’ve been promising to do since Fresher’s week, take a look at some of Downing’s ideas to make sure this month is filled with fun.


Album release – Divide by Ed Sheeran

3rd March

The release date for the highly anticipated third album by the Thinking Out Loud hit maker was announced on his Instagram in December.

Ed’s latest album marks his return to the limelight after taking a one-year hiatus, with the singer having already released two new singles with “Castle On The Hill” and “Shape Of You”.

Community – Vintage Saturdays at the Shipping Forecast

4th March

Liverpool’s only regular Vintage Fair is held on the first Saturday of every month. Pillbox Vintage will host the event, which offers a selection of hand-picked vintage treasures for both men and women, including homeware, jewellery and collectables.

Book release – Exit West by Mohsin Hamid

7th March

Film release – Kong: Skull Island

Concert – Craig David at the Echo Arena

18th March

Craig David’s surprise re-emergence on the musical scene is up there with some of the most talked-about returns to music by an artist in decades. Ahead of the release of his new album ‘Following My Intuition’, Craig will visit Liverpool this month as part of his biggest UK arena tour in 15 years.

Nightclub – Bazaar Saturdays at Revolution Wood Street & Camel Club

 25th March

This month, resident DJs Dan Mitchell and Jay Harvey will be taking you on a journey through tunes from Dance Anthems, Hip Hop to all of the best R&B.

This event is not one to be missed and will be held at Revolution on Wood Street and Camel Club. Entry tickets are £4 and advance tickets are not available for this event.
