Fargo Village

Fargo Village is a creative quarter on Far Gosford Street. The artistic re-purposed space was designed exclusively for creative, independent businesses and has since become a hub of independent businesses.

From a craft brewery, vegan shopping, and a dedicated street food hall, it’s a must-visit spot for students. And that’s not all; it’s also home to various events, including open jam sessions, makers markets, and so much more. So, if you’re looking for a spot to eat, drink, shop & enjoy, FarGo is for you.

Herbert Art Gallery

Art lovers, this one is for you! Another gem within walking distance of City Village, Herbert Art Gallery is filled with culture, modern art exhibitions and local history. You could easily spend hours enjoying the attractions. We recommend taking a look at the latest; ‘After the end of history: British Working Class Photography 1989-2024’ exhibition. Entry is typically free, with occasional fees for specific exhibitions.

Belgrade Theatre

Less than five minutes away if you are living at City Village, Belgrade Theatre is a must visit to watch a show.  Dating back to 1959, it is known as the largest theatre in the city with shows including: Grease, The Rocky Horror Show and more. If acting is your thing, they even host acting classes. You can see their events calendar or buy tickets to a show via their website here.
