Pride month is here and there are so many amazing events in the UK to celebrate the LGBQT+ community. From parades, parties and live performances, we have put together a guide of some of the best places to celebrate.

Top pride events

1st July, London Pride

The capital city comes to life with a huge pride parade starting at Hyde Park where you can expect to see floats, dancers and performers. Head to the various stages located at Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, Soho Square and Dean Street to see amazing performances from the likes of Adam Lambert, Idina Menzel and more. If you are visiting London, then you are going to want to check out additional events taking place in and around the city such as Drag Queen Bingo, Summer Rooftop Pride Party and more. 29th-July, Liverpool Pride

The 29th is the official date for the parade and this year Liverpool will unite with Kyvi Pride to show support to Ukraine.

Homotopia Festival, one of the longest running arts and culture initiatives, which is spread across multiple venues across Liverpool will take place in November. This show stopping festival includes dance, theatre, visual arts, workshops and family-friendly activities that celebrates LBBQT+ creatives.

 

2nd-7th August, Brighton Pride– One of the UK’s biggest pride events that takes place over four days from the 2nd-7th August. Held in Preston Park, you can expect to see international stars such as Britney Spears, Black Eyed Peas, Dua Lipa & Kylie Minogue. If you enjoy camping, then check out The Pride Campsite with tickets on sale for £14.50 per night.

20th August, Black Pride at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

18 years and running, this is the largest celebration for Asian, African, Middle Eastern, Latin American and Caribbean-heritage LGBTQ+ people. Enjoy live music acts, performances, and workshops to take part in. Follow @ukblackpride for updates.

25th-28th August, Manchester Pride

Celebrate the August Bank Holiday by attending Manchester Pride. This year, it is proudly sponsored by Booking.com. Celebrations include the annual Gay Village Party located on Canal Street, this packed with a huge line-up including drag queen Pabllo Vittar, Gok Wan, Jake Shears, Natasha Beddingfield, Lisa Scott-Lee and many more.
