Finding the right student accommodation in Glasgow takes some research. If you’ve discovered West View, here’s what you actually need to know.
West View sits on Beith Court, right in the heart of Glasgow’s West End, one of the city’s most popular neighbourhoods for students. It’s slightly tucked away from the main road, so you get the area’s buzz without the noise.
Byres Road is a few minutes on foot, full of independent cafes and restaurants, perfect for students. Kelvingrove Park is a 10-minute walk, and the Botanic Gardens are practically at the top of the road.

West View offers excellent links to the city centre and universities. The University of Glasgow’s Gilmorehill campus is an 18-minute walk from West View. If you’d rather not walk, Kelvin hall Subway is six minutes away and connects you to the city centre quickly. Partick train station is just eight minutes on foot, which connects you to Glasgow Central with trains to London, Edinburgh, Manchester, and Newcastle, in addition to bus routes in and out of the city.
West View offers two options: en-suite rooms in shared apartments, where you have your own bedroom and bathroom while sharing a kitchen and living space with three to five other residents; and self-contained studio apartments, available in Silver, Gold and Platinum configurations.
Studios are particularly popular with second and third years who want their own space. Rooms start from £240 per week for the 2026–27 academic year.
Yes, all bills are included. Energy, water, 100mbps WiFi and contents insurance are all wrapped into the weekly rent. Nothing to set up, nothing to split with flatmates or pay via separate companies.
The building includes many facilities for use. These include:
The building also has a landscaped courtyard with a river view. There’s also 24/7 on-site support and CCTV throughout.
