Edinburgh This year, Meadowbank Stadium will once again host the famous, largest and longest running firework display in Edinburgh on Sunday 5th November 2017! For those living in New Park, Meadowbank Sports Centre is easily accessible by road, rail and within walking distance (less than 20 minutes). For directions, see here. Glasgow Glasgow’s largest and best free firework display will be returning to Glasgow Green on Sunday 5th November 2017. For those staying at West Village, directions to the site can be found here. More information available here .
Newcastle The annual North Tyneside firework display will return to the Links in Whitley Bay on Sunday 5th November 2017! If you live at Verde or The View, Whitley Bay is just less than a 30-minute journey from your accommodation. Details can be found here.On Saturday 4th November you can experience the charitable Newcastle Gosforth Round Table firework display held at Broadway West, whilst also donating to a good cause! Leeds The free firework show at Woodhouse Moor will be taking place from 7pm on Friday 3rd November this year and is less than a 20-minute walk away from CitySide! For more firework displays in Leeds, see here.
Liverpool The River of Light firework event will be returning to Liverpool waterfront on Sunday 5th November 2017. Expect the “best in the business” as promised by Liverpool City Council! More details here.
Coventry If you live at City Village, don’t miss Drayton Manor’s annual fireworks and laser spectacular held at the theme park between Friday 27th and Sunday 29th October (less than a 40-minute journey from your accommodation). The event will be based on a science fiction theme with the title “SkyFi” and will feature everyone’s favourite sci-fi characters from across the decades! More information available here.
Cambridge On Saturday 4th November 2017, pop down to Midsummer Common (just less than a 30-minute walk or 12-minute journey from City Village) and experience the extraordinary bonfire and fireworks event! Details available here.
London There are plenty of exciting firework displays taking place on Bonfire Night around London this year. If you live at the Lyra, make sure to check out Bishops Park, Ravenscourt Park, Dukes Meadow, Kensington and Richmond for ticketed and non-ticketed events in West London.
