Yes. Downing Students offers short-term summer accommodation across nine UK cities: Manchester, Newcastle, London, Liverpool, Leeds, Exeter, Edinburgh, Coventry, and Glasgow. Stays are available to current residents, incoming September students and students who haven't lived with us before. No long-term contract is required. Book only the dates you need.

Summer stays start from £116.50 per week for general bookings.  Please click 'find rooms' for live availability or enquire here.

Yes. International students are welcome to book summer stays at any Downing Students location. Whether you're staying on after your course or arriving early for the new academic year, our team can help arrange the right room for your dates.

Yes. Summer stays are open across all seven locations regardless of where you currently live or study. If you want to spend summer in a new city, browse our locations and book through the relevant city page.

For students who don't currently live with us, select your city below, choose "Summer Lets", find your room and make a booking.

Existing residents can login in to their resident portal and create an application.  Alternatively, please speak to our team on-site who can create the booking for you.

Summer spaces are limited, so we recommend booking early.

There is a £60 booking fee which is offset against your rent payment.

Existing residents will not be required to pay an additional deposit.
