The holiday break was very much needed, but now it’s time to bid farewell to lazy mornings and Netflix marathons, and say hello to textbooks and lecture halls once again upon returning to study. Fear not, though, because getting back into the uni routine can be a breeze with a little bit of planning and a dash of fun.

Here are some of my tried-and-tested tips to help you ease back into the swing of things:


1. Journaling Journey: Start by jotting down your thoughts and reflections on the break. What were the highlights? Any goals for the upcoming semester? Pouring your thoughts onto paper can help declutter your mind and set a positive tone for the weeks ahead.


2. Notion Page Nirvana: Create a Notion page to organize your tasks, deadlines, and study schedules. Whether you’re a digital enthusiast or a pen-and-paper purist, having a centralized hub for all things uni-related can work wonders for keeping you on track.

3. Tidy Up, Level Up: Before diving headfirst into assignments, take some time to declutter and tidy up your living space. A clean room equals a clear mind, and you’ll be amazed at how much more productive you feel with a clutter-free environment.


4. Meal Plan Magic: Whip up a meal plan for the week ahead. Stock up on nutritious snacks and easy-to-make meals to fuel your brain and body during those study sessions. Plus, cooking can be a therapeutic way to ease back into a routine while indulging your taste buds.


5.Socialize and Relaxing: Don’t forget to carve out time for friends and relaxation. Catch up with your uni pals over coffee or plan a movie night to unwind after a long day of lectures. Balancing study with socializing is key to maintaining your sanity and overall well-being.
