As one of the largest universities in the UK, Leeds Beckett University offers more than 150 undergraduate courses to its 28,000 plus students.
The university started life as the Leeds Mechanics Institute back in 1824, before becoming the Leeds Institute of Science, Art and Literature in 1897 and then renamed Leeds College of Technology in 1924.
